This personal connection uses rclone on the owner's home server to transfer files directly between that server and the owner's Google Drive account.
The connection requests the Google Drive drive.file permission. It can create files and access files created with, or explicitly made available to, this connection. File content and metadata are used for file storage, backup, verification and retrieval at the owner's direction.
Files are stored in the owner's Google Drive account. Connection credentials are stored on the owner's devices. This connection does not sell data, use it for advertising, or intentionally make files public. The rclone project does not receive the owner's file content or credentials through these transfers.
The owner can revoke access in their Google Account's third-party connections settings and can remove stored files through Google Drive. Revoking access does not itself delete stored files. Local copies and separate backups are managed independently.
This connection's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
